New UBB.threads Peeks · Blog

Gosh, it's been a while since I wrote an entirely new system for UBB.threads, heck it's been a busy year maintaining things that it's hard to compare any apples to oranges.

As I lay here in bed swiping away at my tablet I think of many new additions to the forum software that I've been using all these years, and this year as part of a team of developers working to produce it as well.

We had a long list of things that we wanted to tackle, one was the fact that we where far from standards compliant, and with a previous developer botching the transition to HTML5, and then allowing characters in urls that specifically weren't standards compliant, we had a lot of code cleanup. Then we started the push to redesign the administration panel. We then worked in support for proxies and cdn's to publish the actual user addresses, and for ipv6 users to have their addresses display and store properly.

Stop Forum Spam saw some major work, as did our enhanced suhosin and max_vars checks. We worked in mobile support, and reworked it several times.

We've even started work on some future systems, such as the ability to like and see who's liked users, posters, and topics.

A substantial amount of work is going into future development, and we're working hard to ensure that those of you who have stood with the product see that it's worth the wait.

Request a Quote
Please feel free to Request a Quote at any time.

By requesting a quote you allow us to adjust pricing for your product on a per-project basis. Note that most of the prices on our pricing page are just our "common" pricing and can vary on a per project basis. It will also allow us to add any per project discounts where we see fit (non-profit organizations, affiliations, etc).

If your "type" of project isn't listed in our menu's to the left, please Request a Quote; we can do much more than what is listed however building pages for it all would take a great while.
